About Me.
Hello, my name is Sire Kassama. Growing up, I was continually exposed to the agricultural community as well as research in modern science which sparked a deep interest in improving agricultural systems. In the future, I hope to address the issues with resource efficiency in agriculture by utilizing genomic data coupled with high-throughput phenotyping methods.
I am pursuing a doctoral degree in horticulture and agronomy from the University of California-Davis. While continually seeking novel opportunities, I have also synthesized avenues to expand knowledge in my field and to members of the general public. It is my hope to impact the lives of small farmers throughout the world through research and development in the plant breeding field. EDUCATION
